Description

No. 5 Red Lane is an attached cottage located at the end of a row, dating from the mid-19th century. The cottage features rubble-stone walls and a slate roof with projecting eaves. It has 2 storeys and includes two windows on the ground floor, which are 3-light wooden casements with wooden cills and lintels, topped with segmental brick heads. The entrance is a 20th-century plank door situated at the center, which has one glass light. The cottage also has 19th-century brick stacks at the gable ends.
