Description
Linden House and The End is a former service wing of a manor house, now divided into two properties, dating from the 19th century. Linden House features rubble-stone walls with brick dressings and slate roofs, with a brick stack located at the party wall. It is two storeys high and has two windows, which are three-light cast-iron casements with glazing bars. The left front has a two-leaf multi-glazed door. At the rear, there is a game larder that is one storey tall, with a flagstone floor and barrel-vaulted cellars. The End is attached to the west under a continuous roof, constructed with the same materials, and has a hipped roof. It also has a brick stack on the ridge, is two storeys high, and has two windows facing the yard, which are three-light cast-iron casements. The front door is located on the end gable, featuring brick jambs and a segmental brick head, with a 20th-century wooden door that has six upper glass lights.
