Description

Thurlstone is a detached house dating from the late 18th century, with later 19th-century changes to its windows. The building features chalk block walls covered in roughcast and a thatched roof, which is half-hipped on the left side and fully hipped on the right. There are brick stacks located at the apex of the left hip and on the ridge to the right of the center. The house has two storeys and four windows, which are three-light iron casements with lead lights and wooden lintels, with two-light iron casements positioned above. The front door, located to the left of center, is a plank door with a weatherboard and dates from the 19th century. A pitched gable canopy is situated above the door.
