Description
No. 43 High West Street is a building dating from the 17th or early 18th century. It features a plastered exterior and a pitched tile roof, along with tall brick stacks. The building has two storeys and an attic, with two ranges of windows. On the left side, there is a two-storey canted bay window with a moulded cornice. On the right side, there is a restored 18th-century bowed shop window with glazing bars, and a bipartite sash window on the first floor. The entrance has a panelled door topped by an 18th-century hood supported by shaped brackets and a moulded architrave. Nos. 41 to 45 form a group with this building.
