Description
No. 8 Eastgate is a building with early 19th century origins. It is two storeys high and constructed of painted brick, topped with a pantile roof. The upper floor features one modern window with shutters. The shop front, dating from the early 19th century, includes glazing bars, plain pilasters, and a fascia. The entrance has a four-panel door and a rectangular fanlight above it. The building is notable for its shop window and is part of a group with Nos. 4 to 14A (even).
