Description

No. 9 Upgate is a building likely originating from the 18th century. It has two storeys and is rendered with a pantile roof and a central brick chimney stack. The building features two modern three-light windows. The shop front, dating from the 19th century, consists of two windows with modern glass, and there is a half-glazed door with two panels and a window to the right. A continuous entablature and end pilasters are present. To the right, there is a flat carriage entry. Nos. 7, 7A, 7B, and 9 Upgate form a group.
