Description
No. 20 Magdalene Street is a building from the 18th century or earlier. It has two storeys with attics and features a combination of brick and plastered timber-framing, topped with a tiled roof. The first floor displays mock half-timber work and includes one modern three-light window. There is a gabled dormer above, and the shop front has a door on the left side, with a window flanked by pilasters that support a well-crafted moulded wood cornice. The interior has been modernised. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 13 to 18 and Nos. 20 to 31 Magdalene Street.
