Description
21 and 22 Magdalene Street are two-storey buildings with origins dating back to the 16th century, although they were remodelled in the 18th century. They feature a timber-framed and plastered construction with a tiled roof. The buildings have a small moulded eaves cornice and later 19th-century shop fronts. Number 21 has one window on the first floor with modern glazing, while number 22 has two windows on the first floor, which include moulded architraves, hung sashes, glazing bars, and a central recess. The interiors have been modernised. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 13 to 18 and Nos 20 to 31.
