Description
31 and 33 Market Street are two-storey buildings with origins likely dating back to the 18th century. They are rendered and topped with a pantile roof that features two dormers and a wooden eaves cornice. The buildings have a combination of two and one windows, which do not have glazing bars, and are framed with moulded wood cases. Number 31 includes a small 19th-century shop front with grooved pilasters, while number 33 has a modern shop front. These buildings, along with numbers 25 to 39, form a group, with numbers 27 and 39 noted for their local interest.
