Description
126 and 127 Church Street are 18th-century buildings that stand two storeys tall with attics and are rendered. They feature a pantile roof, with one dormer on each building. Number 127 has a modillion cornice. Each building has two windows with moulded frames and no glazing bars. Number 126 has a six-panel door, one panel of which is glazed, while number 127 has a pedimented doorway with a fanlight and a five-panel door, also with one glazed panel. There is a late 19th-century shop front that includes a cornice and large glazing bars. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 119 to 123A, the Board Inn, Nos 126 to 135, Nos 137 to 151, and Nos 153 to 157.
