Description
128 and 129 Church Street are two 18th-century buildings located on the west side of Church Street. They are two storeys tall with attics and have a rendered exterior. The buildings feature a pantile roof, each with one sloped dormer. Number 128 has a double-hung sash window without glazing bars, while number 129 has modern four-light casement windows on both floors. They both have a coved eaves cornice and 19th-century four-panel doors. These buildings are included for their group value, as they are part of a collection that includes Nos 119 to 123A, the Board Inn, Nos 126 to 135, Nos 137 to 151, and Nos 153 to 157, which all form a cohesive architectural group.
