Description

The Board Inn is a building likely dating from the 18th century, located on Church Street. It features a steep pantile roof and a stone gable end with kneelers. The structure is two storeys high with attics and has a rough rendered exterior. The gable faces the front and includes ornamental wood half-timbering. There are two small modern casement windows in the gable, with three-light windows on the first floor and four-light windows below. The entrance has a plain modern door. The rear of the building retains some 18th-century features. The Board Inn is part of a group that includes Nos 119 to 123A, Nos 126 to 135, and Nos 137 to 151, as well as Nos 153 to 157 on the same street.
