Description
34 High West Street is a three-storey building with a three-window front, dating from the 18th century. The stucco exterior, including the panel treatment at the parapet, is likely a later addition. It features sash windows and a doorway supported by console brackets with guttae, topped by a pediment. The doorway also has a dentil entablature, pilasters, and a moulded architrave. To the right of the doorway, there is a prominent two-storey semi-circular bow, with each floor displaying three-light bowed sash windows separated by pilaster strips and adorned with dentil cornices. Additionally, there is a notable Edwardian letter box. Nos 28 to 34 form a cohesive group.
