Description
Nos. 28 and 29, along with their railings, date from the early to mid-19th century. The building is constructed of colourwashed brick with a stucco ground floor featuring horizontal rustication, topped by rendered stacks. It is three storeys high, with attics beneath a moulded eaves cornice and a blocking course. The ground floor has two sash windows, while the first and second floors each have four sash windows with glazing bars. The entrance doors have oblong fanlights; the door to No. 28 has six moulded panels, and the door to No. 29 has two. A particularly elaborate wrought-iron balcony in the Rococo style is situated on the first floor. Further decorative wrought-iron railings are present around the front area and door steps, featuring spear and urn finials. Nos. 28 to 34 form a notable group.
