Description
24 High West Street is an early 19th-century building constructed of yellow brick with a rusticated stucco ground floor. It stands three storeys tall with attics and features a stucco band above the first floor. The building has a moulded eaves cornice topped with a parapet. There are two ranges of sash windows with glazing bars and two flat-topped attic dormers also fitted with glazing bars. The ground floor includes two round-arched plate glass windows and a panelled door with a semi-circular fanlight. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 13 to 15, The Old Ship Public House, Nos 18 and 19, The Royal Oak Public House, Nos 21 to 24, and the Church of Our Lady.
