Description

Snipe Cottage is a cottage that likely dates back to the 18th century. It features plastered cob walls and a thatched roof, with brick stacks. The building is two storeys high, and there is a later single-storey rear extension that has both thatched and flat roofing. A modern ledged door is located in the thatched porch. On the ground floor, there are four casement windows and one modern thatched bay window with casements. The first floor has four casement windows, each with central glazing bars. Inside, one ground floor room includes an open fireplace, which may have remnants of a bread oven.
