Description
East Burton Farm and Glodia is a building that was originally one house, likely dating from the 18th century. It features plastered cob walls, thatched roofs, and brick stacks. The structure is one storey with attics. East Burton Farm has a modern ledged door located in a thatched timber porch. The ground floor includes two casement windows and one horizontally sliding sash window, all with glazing bars. In the attic, there are three half-dormers: two with casements that have a central glazing bar, and one with horizontally sliding sashes that also have glazing bars.
To the west, there is a range of single-storey outbuildings, which appear to be incorporated into the house. These outbuildings have plastered walls and a tiled roof, featuring a part-glazed door and one casement window. Glodia has a panelled door in a thatched timber porch, with the ground floor having two casement windows that also have horizontal glazing bars. The attic of Glodia contains one half-dormer with similar casements.
