Description
Burton Grove Farmhouse is a remodelled 18th-century house that stands two storeys tall with an attic. The exterior is rendered, likely over brick, and features a slate roof that is half hipped to the left. The front has three late 19th-century, three-light casement windows and a central porch that is gabled and glazed. To the right, there is a single-storey washhouse extension made of stone and slate, which is connected to a high brick garden wall. The west front has an 'L' plan extension with a band over the ground floor, likely dating from the early to mid-19th century. The main house's west wall is supported by three brick "flying buttresses." Attached to the north-west is a rubble granary with steps at the north-east corner. To the north-east, there is a rubble barn that has a stone tile roof and brick dressings around its vents, featuring central doors on the south gable end that are timber structured.
