Description
Hunts Copse Farmhouse is a building dating from around 1700. It features a gabled front with extensions on both the left and right sides and stands two and a half storeys tall. The exterior is made of rendered rubble with brick chimneys and a stone tile roof. Originally, the farmhouse had two flanking two and a half storey gables, each with two light mullion windows, and a central lower one and a half storey gable that included a door between and a two light window above. A short section connects to the left-hand block, which has a three light mullion window. The entrance features a Tudor arch doorway.
To the right, there is an 18th-century half hipped wing that is set at right angles. The rear of the building has been altered, including an 18th-century gabled wing set back to the left. The main part of the farmhouse is two storeys high, with a chamfered plinth and a string course above the ground floor. The central entrance has a six flush panel door, with the upper two panels glazed, and is topped with a bracketed stone hood. There are three windows, of which only two retain their original three light mullions; the remaining window is modern. To the right, there is a three storey wing with a hipped roof. The interior has been altered, but a through passage has been retained.
