Description

The Rectory, dated to the mid-19th century, is an irregularly planned building constructed of rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings. It has a stone slate roof and brick chimneys, with the east chimney featuring two ridges and overlapping capping in a Tudor style. The driveway front, likely dating to the later 19th century, presents three bays, the central one a tower porch with a moulded string and a four-centred arch-headed doorway. The left-hand bay has modern three-light mullion windows. The entrance wing has square-headed traceried windows (with transoms on the ground floor) and a cusped-headed vent in the gable. This wing also features irregular flanking chimneys, with a moulded panel on the right-hand one. The garden front consists of two bays, angled toward the entrance.
