Description

The village pump, dated 1902, is located on Trenchard Road in Stanton Fitzwarren. It features a cast iron square standard with a long handle and a moulded capping. The pump is inscribed with "E.R. 1902" and "Bamford's Frost Protected Lift Pump". It is set within a specially fenced garden. A simpler, older fluted standard pump can be found three houses to the north.
