Description

Beech Cottage is a 18th century cottage that has been modernized. It is built of painted rubble and has one and a half stories with a thatched roof. The cottage features two ridge chimneys and has two modern buttresses on the south-west corner. The south front includes two ground floor windows with timber lintels, and small three and two-light casements that are separated by a projecting hipped porch. There is also a two-light casement located just under the thatch to the right, along with a later catslide that has modern windows to the right. On the north side, there are two dormers cut into the thatch, and the cottage stands on a high proud plinth.
