Description

Stanton Mill is a building dating from the 18th century to early 19th century. It is one and a half to two storeys high and features three and a half bays. The structure is constructed of painted rubble with brick quoins and dressings, and has a brick first floor on the projecting 'T' wing to the left of the center. Most of the roof is thatched, while the northern bay has a tiled roof. There are two brick chimneys on the building. The left-hand bay is a weatherboarded lumber shed. To the right of this, there is a half-hipped break that includes a door with a window above, and a one and a half storey bay to the right. Additionally, there is a two-storey bay with a tiled roof and a lean-to on the right side.
