Description
No 77 on Higher Street is an attached house that dates back to the 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th and 19th centuries. The building features plastered walls and a thatched roof, along with brick stacks at each end. It has one storey and attics. The entrance is located at the rear, within a 20th-century lean-to that has a tiled roof. The main elevation includes two casement windows with glazing bars on the ground floor, as well as a canted bay window that also has similar casements and a hipped tiled roof. In the attic, there are two half-dormers with matching casements. At the west end, there is a lower extension made of brick, topped with a hipped tiled roof.
