Description

The Annexe to Bridport Arts Centre, built in 1860, was originally a Sunday School for the Wesleyan Methodist Chapel. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features a hipped slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has three ranges of round-arched windows with glazing bars. On the ground floor, there is a four-panel door topped with a semi-circular fanlight and a semi-circular relieving arch. This annexe, along with Nos 3 to 9 (odd), the Bridport Arts Centre, and Nos 11 to 17 (odd), 17B, and 17A, forms a group with the Greyhound Hotel on East Street.
