Description

18 and 20 East Street are late 18th century to early 19th century buildings made of red brick. They feature a pitched slate roof with coped gables and rise to three storeys. The front has four ranges of sash windows with glazing bars. Number 20 includes a six-panel door with a square fanlight and glazing bars, along with a mid-19th century projecting shop front that has arched glazing bars. Number 18 has a modern shop front. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 8 to 36 (even) and the United Reformed and Methodist Church.
