Description
The Wilsden Independent Sunday School is a Wesleyan Sunday School built in 1890. It features hammer-dressed stone and a Westmorland green-slate roof with a tile ridge. The building is single storey and consists of five bays. The central three bays are gable fronted, creating a symmetrical arrangement. In the front-facing gable, there are three tall arched two-light transomed windows, each with a circle set in the apex of the window arch. Above the gable, there is a circular window and a carved date. The wings of the building are at right angles and include a separately gabled porch at the front, with ridge stacks located at the junction with the central block.
