Description
The Wilsden Cooperative Society is a co-operative store that is currently unoccupied. It was built in the mid to late 19th century and features hammer-dressed stone with ashlar dressings. The building has two storeys and six windows on the first floor. The ground floor includes two wide windows that are divided by pilasters, with corner pilasters and a cornice above. The first floor has six arched windows, which are accented by an impost band and console keystones. Above the central two windows, there is an elaborately carved pedimented plaque with volutes on either side and a carving of a beehive. The right-hand side of the building has a return of three bays with similar windows to those on the first floor front.
