Description

CHIPPING NORTON HIGH STREET SP 3027-3127 3/17 No 8 (Baxters Butchery and Coles the Jewellers) 3.3.69 GV II Shop. Early C18, refaced in the C20 of ashlar with a gabled stone tiled roof, dressed stone copings and N end stone based stack with brick cap. Three storeys and attic, 3 window range. Moulded cornice, first floor moulded string course and moulded architraves to windows. Two pedimented 6-pane dormers, 12-pane sashes to upper 2 floors. The 3 bays have slight projection and are flanked by narrow bays with blind panels at first floor level. C20 shop front to ground floor.
