Description
Rumbelows is a shop located on High Street in Chipping Norton, dating from the early 18th century. The building is constructed of ashlar stone and features a gabled stone-tiled roof with a northern stone base stack that has a brick cap, which it shares with No 7. It stands three storeys tall with an attic and has three bays, characterized by rusticated quoins, blocked dressings, and large keystones. The first floor keystones are connected by a band and a moulded stone cornice. The upper two floors have recessed 12-pane sash windows, while the attic features two pedimented dormers with 2-light casements. The ground floor has a 20th-century shop front.
