Description
Spring Mill House is a mill master's house, likely built in the late 18th century. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and a two-cell plan with a double-depth layout and a gable entry. Notable architectural details include quoins, a band, and shaped gutter brackets. Each floor has two bays of Venetian windows, which are adorned with impost blocks and keystones. The house has gable stacks, and the right-hand return displays two bays of two-light windows with a single-light window above. A mid-20th century gabled porch is set between these windows, and there is a circular window at the apex. The house is located immediately adjacent to the mill.
