Description
The former Wesleyan Methodist Sunday School, built in 1823, is a single-storey building constructed from coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and features a stone slate roof with a single gable stack. The structure has five bays, with a central doorway that includes a four-panel door and a stone inscription above, marking the establishment of the Sunday School in 1823, all framed by a raised ashlar door surround. To the right of the doorway are two boarded windows, while to the left is a single similar window, with a blocked opening beyond that is now hidden by a later extension. At the front, there is a low rubble wall with coved coping and central gate-piers. The rear wall contains four boarded windows. Inside, the building features dado panelling and a marble fireplace.
