Description
The Bowling Mills Combing Company Shop, which was also occupied by Boyd and Richardson and J Clark and Company, is a former office building dating from around 1860 to 1870. It is constructed of sandstone that resembles brick and stands two storeys high. The building features a pedimental gable with three window openings facing the mill yard, and there are seven windows on the side elevations. The ground floor windows are designed with archivolt arches that are connected by an impost band. This building is included as part of a group of mill structures.
