Description
No. 157 on Little Horton Lane is a two-storey sandstone "brick" house built around 1850-1855, located at the corner with Giles Street. The front features three bays with rusticated ashlar quoins, a sill band, and a moulded eaves cornice. It has a hipped slate roof with chimneys on either side. The windows are sash style with ashlar lintels, and the central first-floor window is framed by an eared architrave surround. The doorway also has an architrave surround and is topped with large console brackets supporting a dentil cornice. One bay of the building extends and returns under the same roof as No. 2 Giles Street.
