Description
This is a detached barn located 30 metres north of The Manor House, with a core dating back to the 16th century and later restoration and refenestration in the 19th century. The barn features rubble-stone walls and ashlar stone quoins. It has a stone slate roof with stone gable copings and moulded kneelers, along with a stone stack on the ridge, positioned left of centre. The building is 1½ storeys tall and has three windows to the left of the central doorway. The windows are made up of 3-light and 2-light hollow-chamfered stone mullions, with iron casements and lozenge-leaded lights. The central doorway consists of two-leaf plank doors framed by moulded stone jambs and a depressed-arch head. There is an additional door to the cottage at the left centre, which is a plank door with straight-chamfered jambs and a depressed-arch head.
