Description

The Clothier family chest tomb, located on the south wall of the chancel of the Church of Saint Mary, dates from 1675. It is made of Ham stone ashlar and features carved details. The tomb has a cyma recta base mould, with two panels on each side and one panel at each end. The top is hipped and is adorned with crude non-classical mouldings. The inscriptions on the tomb are very worn, with the earliest date being 1675.
