Description

The stone boundary wall on the north and west sides of Clarke's Cottage is likely from the 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of large slabs of local stone, probably from Keinton, set upright with unmortared joints. This wall is a rare example of a local "stone plank wall" and holds historical significance as well as serving as an important visual feature at a notable corner.
