Description

The Old House is a detached house built in the mid-18th century. It features squared dressed stone walls and a clay-tile roof with stone gable copings and simple moulded kneelers. There are brick stacks at each gable end. The house has two storeys and attics, with three windows that are three-light wood casements fitted with lozenge-leaded lights, dating from the 20th century. Dripstones are present over the ground floor windows. The front door, located at the centre, is a plank-and-muntin style from the 20th century, with a wooden canopy above it, also from the 20th century. At the rear, there are continuous outshuts.
