Description
The building is a domestic structure that has been converted into a barn, dating from the mid-16th century. It is constructed of red brick in English bond, featuring sandstone ashlar dressings and an old tiled roof. The barn is a single storey and has a plinth. The north front includes a central entrance with two large boarded doors, alongside a blocked four-light stone mullioned window to the left, which has an inserted blocked door next to it.
On the west end, there is a blocked four-light stone mullioned window with a blocked arched window above, flanked by two blocked air vents, likely added during its conversion to a barn. This building is probably contemporary with the retaining walls and terrace at the former Shifnal Manor.
