Description
Sort Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse, possibly a converted farm building, dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. It features rubble-stone walls with 19th-century brick quoins and a thatch roof that is half-hipped at both the left and right gables. There are brick stacks located at the left end, on the left ridge, and on the right ridge. The building has one storey and attics, with four windows that are three-light wooden casements with glazing bars, along with wooden cills and lintels. There is also a two-light window from the 18th century. The rear of the farmhouse has late 18th-century brick dressings. The current front door, located on the left gable wall, is a plank door with studs and dates from the 20th century.
