Description
Whetley Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse built in the late 18th century, with significant alterations made in the 19th century. The building features rubble-stone walls and a corrugated asbestos roof with gable ends. It has two storeys and includes four windows, which are three-light wooden casements with glazing bars, wooden cills, and lintels, all dating from the 19th century. There is a straight joint in the masonry that aligns with the left side of the front door, which is a plain 20th-century addition. To the right, there is a 19th-century extension that is lower in height and has a slate roof with a lower pitch. This extension has two storeys, is one window wide, and features a plank door on the right side.
