Description

This is an 18th-century building of two phases, located in West Borough. The northern section was constructed somewhat later than the rest. The walls are rendered; the main part is roughcast, while the plinth is marked out with ashlar. It has a tiled roof and brick stacks. The southern section features an eaves dentil cornice. The front has a central entrance with a four-panel, partly glazed door, topped with a pedimented hood supported by console brackets and reeded pilasters. A modern bow window is situated to the south of the entrance. To the north of the door is a two-storey bow, dating from the late 18th or early 19th century. The ground floor windows have glazing bars and classical surrounds with moulded pilasters and a dentil course. The first floor features two double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. Two dormers with hipped roofs and side-hung casements are present in the attic; the dormer in the southern section has leaded lights.
