Description
44 West Borough is a late 18th-century building constructed in two sections. It features colourwashed brick walls and a tiled roof with brick stacks. The northern section has two storeys and an attic, with a platband at the first floor level and two gables facing the road. The entrance includes a six-panel door with a semi-circular fanlight and a segmental hood supported by simple brackets and reeded pilasters. The ground floor has one double-hung sash window with glazing bars, while the first floor has two double-hung sash windows with vertical bars only. The attic contains two half dormers in the gables, also with vertical bars only. The southern section is two storeys high, with one double-hung sash window with glazing bars in the upper sash on the ground floor and one double-hung sash window with glazing bars on the first floor.
