Description
House by the Lake is a late 18th century building constructed of brick with a pantile roof. It has two storeys and is arranged in three bays. The central entrance features a panelled door that is sheltered by a 20th-century hood supported on consoles. On either side of the door, there is one 18th-century three-light casement window, and there are three such windows on the first floor, all set beneath segmental arches (the top right window has been renewed). The upper three feet of the facade have been rebuilt, and the gables have been raised. The roof is gabled, with a stack located at the south internal end.
