Description
Blacksmith's Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse constructed of brick with a roof made of black glazed and red pantiles. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a south elevation featuring three bays. On the left side, there is a late 19th-century canted bay window. To the right and extending into the east return, there is a flat loggia supported by Tuscan columns. The facade includes two sash windows and a 20th-century door behind the loggia. A central French window on the first floor opens onto the loggia, flanked by sash windows on either side. There is also a tripartite sash window set in a central gabled pediment. All sash windows have glazing bars and are topped with gauged skewback arches. The console eaves cornice continues into the pediment, and the hipped roof features a flat section with two symmetrically placed stacks.
