Description

No. 48 West Borough is an 18th-century building with brick walls and a slate roof, featuring brick stacks. It stands two storeys tall and has a platband at the first-floor level. The central doorway includes a six-panel door and a semi-circular fanlight with radiating glazing bars, framed by a classical surround with a broken pediment on console brackets and reeded pilasters. At the north end of the house, there is an archway that leads to a through passage. The ground floor has two double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, while the first floor has three similar windows.
