Description
37 West Borough is an early 19th-century building that is similar in style to the adjoining terrace. It features colourwashed brick walls and a low-pitched slate roof with brick stacks. The building stands two storeys tall, matching the total height of the three-storey terrace next door.
On the ground floor, there is a central archway that leads to the rear of the property. To the south of the archway, there is a double-hung sash window with glazing bars. To the north of the arch, there is a large opening fitted with ledged doors. The first floor contains three double-hung sash windows, also with glazing bars. The spacious first-floor room may have served a public function in the past, as it features a segmental plaster ceiling with a moulded cornice and ornamental ceiling roses, although these details are now somewhat dilapidated.
