Description
A W and E W Frowd, also known as Avocado Coffee House, is a late 18th to early 19th century building located on the west side of West Borough. It features brick walls and a simple moulded eaves cornice, topped by a modern tiled roof and brick stacks. The ground floor has a central doorway with a simple moulded surround that leads to a through passage, flanked by two modern shop windows. On the first floor, there are three double hung sash windows with raised plastered surrounds and central glazing bars. To the north of the main building is a lower block that includes an opening on the ground floor leading to another through passage, and one double hung sash window on the first floor with a segmental head.
