Description
Minster Sports is an early 19th-century building located on the south side of West Street. It features rendered walls and a low pitched slate roof with brick stacks. The elevation facing West Street is two storeys high and includes a modern shop front with a moulded timber surround that has classical details on the ground floor. The first floor has three double hung sash windows with glazing bars. The elevation towards West Row has brick walls that are partly rendered and is three storeys tall. This section includes some double hung sash windows and some casement windows. There is an attached outbuilding on the south side, facing West Row, which has an upper door with the remains of a sack hoist.
