Description

1, Silver Street is an early 19th-century building located on the west side of Silver Street, Whitby. It is constructed of red brick and is three storeys high, originally featuring three double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, set within flat brick voussoirs that are now painted. A late 19th-century and modern shop front now occupies the ground floor, featuring a fascia supported on consoles. One window is visible on the upper floors, and directly above it is a blocked round arched window. The roof is covered with pantiles.
